The honest bit

Why $19.99

You are entitled to know what you are paying for before you are asked to pay it.

Why not cheaper?

Every lesson, quiz and mark is generated fresh from the page you photographed, and generating them costs us real money each time your kid sits down. A cheaper plan would mean a monthly cap on lessons, and a homework lock with a cap on lessons is a homework lock that stops working in week three.

Why per family and not per child?

Because charging you twice for the same tired Tuesday night is indefensible. Up to five kids on the one subscription, and the second one costs nothing extra.

Why no free tier?

A free tier for this product would have to be paid for by data, and this is a product built on your kid's schoolwork. We would rather charge you honestly than find a second way to make money out of what they wrote.

Why no annual discount yet?

We are new. Asking you to commit to twelve months of something you have used for two weeks is not a discount, it is a bet you are making on our behalf. When we have earned it, there will be one.

One more thing worth saying plainly: today this only works on Android. If your kid has an iPhone, do not start a paid trial. Here is why, and where it is up to.
